Biography
Takuro Sato was received the B.E. and ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Niigata University , Japan, in 1973 and 1993, respectively. He jointed Research and Development Laboratories, Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, in 1973, and he has been engaged in research on PCM transmission equipment, mobile communication, data transmission technology, and digital signal processing technology. He developed Wide-band CDMA system for personal communication system and jointed the PCS standardization committee in USA and Japan. He established IS-665 of 2GHz PCS standardization in USA He was a Senior Research Manager, and Research Director in Communication Systems Laboratory of Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. In 1995, he was a professor of Niigata Institute of Technology. His researches were CDMA, OFDM and personal communication systems. In 2004, he is a professor of GITS of Waseda University. His current research interests include 4G systems and its hardware and analog design. He is member of IEICE and senior member of IEEE.
